Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Precision Electrical Assembler - Level 2 to assemble and solder CCAs and precision electronic components with high accuracy. You will follow detailed work instructions, ensure quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives on-site.

Qualifications

  • Must pass vision test; cannot be color blind.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years soldering experience; will be working with small parts.
  • Experience in assembling precision electronic components in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic assembly techniques, soldering, wiring, and use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection methods to ensure product compliance.
  • Proficiency with electronic testing equipment and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness and ability to complete formal J-Std solder training; someone who has been through J Standard solder training is a plus.
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures of CCA build.
  • Basic computer skills needed; experience with SAP, Microsoft Office, Team Center a plus.
  • Candidates will need to work under a microscope.

Job description

As an Precision Electrical Assembler - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling precision electronic components and systems with a high degree of accuracy and quality. You will produce high quality products and services for our customers by assembling and soldering circuit card assemblies (CCAs) to ensure the highest quality product is provided. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. Additionally, you will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production, and quality improvements.

In this role, you will be required to complete formal J-Std solder training. Hand soldering or process equipment experience is recommended. You will rely on work instructions and pre-established processes to perform the functions of the job and will report to a supervisor with direction from a workflow specialist.

You will work closely with engineering and quality teams to ensure that all assemblies meet stringent aerospace standards and specifications. You will report directly to our Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Glendale, AZ location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the production of critical aerospace electronic assemblies that contribute to the safety, reliability, and performance of advanced aerospace systems.
