Job summary

Materion is seeking an Electron Beam Weld (EBW) Machine Operator to support production goals. You will set up EBW equipment, load coils, monitor cycles, and perform in-process quality checks to ensure product conformance.

Strong attention to precision and experience with micrometers are preferred. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will troubleshoot equipment and enter data into SAP to help meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in metals industry desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret reports and technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up designated EBW machine by interpreting process sheets and selecting parameters.
• Load coils, thread material, and operate the EBW machine per quality specs.
• Monitor machine cycles and inspect products to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Perform in-process checks and adjust speeds using dial indicators.
• Handle data entry into SAP system.
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed to meet daily production targets.
