Job summary

Workforce Strategies, Incorporated in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a meticulous Laboratory Technician for a busy dyehouse. You will prepare dye formulations, measure chemicals, and run lab trials to ensure color accuracy with safe data handling.

This full-time, on-site role offers a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits, plus potential permanent hire based on performance. A bachelor’s degree or 2 years in manufacturing/lab work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of manufacturing or laboratory experience.
• Ability to pass Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue Test with score 16+.
• Must read/write English and show strong data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dye formulations and measure liquids and powders.
• Run lab trials and compare results to standard samples.
• Adjust formulas and perform quality testing on materials.
