Job summary

Harden Architectural Security Products, LLC in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Door Assembly Technician to build secure doors from drawings, instructions, and electrical schematics. You will use power and hand tools, measure parts precisely, and apply cosmetic cladding as required by orders.

You will pull and stage materials, adjust components for proper operation, and set up equipment for drilling and tapping. Responsibilities include inventory tracking, cleanliness, safety compliance, and teamwork

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities

Build security doors based on drawings, work instructions, and electrical schematics.
Use power tools and hand tools to assemble door components.
Measure parts accurately to ensure proper fit.
Apply cosmetic cladding as required by customer orders.
Pull material and stage for various levels of assembly operations.
Mechanically adjust as needed to ensure proper door operation.
Set up and operate equipment to drill and tap as needed.
Maintain all inventory processes, labor, material, and product tracking.
Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
Other duties as assigned.
Inspect sub-components and assembled products for defects; document as required.
Visually inspect products for defects per specifications.
Follow safety protocols and report safety concerns.
Load finished assemblies into crates and document contents; label crates.
