Job summary

RRD is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist (Army MOS 83F) for the 12 Hr Day Shift in Green Bay, WI. You will operate high-resolution print equipment, program jobs, and maintain production logs. Compensation ranges from USD 39,520 to USD 64,480 yearly, with overtime and benefits as described.

Responsibilities include setup, color adjustment, quality monitoring, and inventory maintenance. Requires advanced knowledge of digital print/inkjet systems and ability to troubleshoot to meet customer

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of digital print and/or inkjet imaging equipment setup and operation.
Ability to diagnose and correct operating problems affecting quality and timeliness.
Strong knowledge of color theory and ability to perform color corrections per customer specs.
Proficient in file manipulation and formats for digital print.
Knowledge of feed rollers, tensioning, timing, and in-line finishing per job specs.
Experience mentoring junior operators.
Ability to determine symptoms, causes, and remedies.

Responsibilities

Operate high resolution, variable print proprietary imaging equipment.
Program and prepare jobs for printing.
Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests.
Setup, program and release jobs from print queue.
Adjust image position, color quality, and resolution per job specs.
Monitor quality of output for accuracy and image quality.
Order supplies such as ink, chemicals, blankets, rollers, paper, and tabs as needed.
Maintain inventory levels.
