Job summary

GE HealthCare in Wisconsin is seeking candidates to perform electrical, mechanical and chemical operations to produce detector arrays for imaging systems. You will assemble, machine, inspect and test delicate ceramic, mechanical, and electrical assemblies from instructions.

The role requires reading drawings, using precision measuring devices, and maintaining process control charts. Candidates should be able to withstand clean room conditions, wear PPE, and work in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts at

Qualifications

  • Read, write and understand instructions.
  • Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings.
  • Use standard mechanical and electrical measuring devices.
  • Perform assembly work requiring high level of dexterity.
  • Manufacture close tolerance detector components using complex machinery.
  • May require use/wearing of a respirator.
  • Pass a vision test for the job group.
  • Meet medical restrictions for clean room environment.
  • Pass physical screenings to wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical, mechanical and chemical operations to produce detector arrays for imaging systems.
  • Process, assemble, machine, inspect and test delicate ceramic, mechanical and electrical assemblies from instructions.
  • Identify defective parts, perform rework and adjust tools as required.
  • Maintain and interpret process control charts.
  • Set up and tear down complex computer-controlled machines as needed.
  • Conduct miscellaneous tasks to support efficient production.
