Job summary

Kaney is seeking a skilled deburring technician to remove burrs and sharp edges from machined parts, using buffers and hand tools as needed. You will follow drawings, routings and company procedures to ensure quality finishes.

You will work from 1st or 2nd shift, interact with team, maintain a clean work area, and contribute to continuous improvement and safety compliance on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years related manufacturing experience.
• Familiar with drawings, routings, and general deburring procedures.
• Experience with micrometers, plug/thread gauges, and inspection equipment.
• Familiar with manual and automated polishing techniques.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Lean manufacturing training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works from drawings, routings and verbal instructions.
• Performs wire brushing, polishing, scraping, buffing, filing and cleaning of parts as required.
• Interacts with others to obtain assistance to solve problems.
• Inspects parts per instructions to ensure quality.
• Participates in continuous improvement activities as needed.
• Maintains good housekeeping practices.
• Complies with company quality and safety requirements.
