Job summary

American Orthodontics in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a detail-oriented deburring technician to feed brackets into a deburring machine and remove burrs to meet part specifications.

You will degrease, use hand tools, identify nonconforming brackets, read drawings, and perform additional duties to support production. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 2 years manufacturing experience, and the ability to sit for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and a toolmakers microscope is a plus.
• 2 years of direct manufacturing experience.
• Ability to sit for up to 8–10 hours per day.
• Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to inspect small parts for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Feed brackets into a deburring machine to remove burrs.
• Degrease strips of brackets to remove oil used in the slotting process.
• Use hand tools to remove burrs.
• Identify and mark nonconforming brackets.
• Read and understand part drawings, and machine parts to specification.
• Perform additional responsibilities to achieve business objectives.
