Job summary

Snelling in Clearwater, FL is seeking an experienced Davenport Screw Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role requires hands-on experience setting up and operating mechanical multi-spindle automatic screw machines; this is not a CNC machining or programming position.

You will set up and operate Davenport automatic screw machines, install and adjust tooling, read blueprints, and monitor performance to maximize productivity while ensuring quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience setting up and operating Davenport multi-spindle screw machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Davenport automatic screw machines for production.
• Install, adjust, and change tooling, cams, tooling slides, and machine components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to manufacture precision parts.
• Monitor machine performance and make mechanical setup adjustments to ensure quality and maximize productivity.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
