Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in data entry is a plus.
• Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role.
• Excellent typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic understanding of data confidentiality principles.
• Comfortable working under deadlines and managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Enter data from various source documents into the company database accurately and efficiently
• Verify data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before entry
• Update and maintain information in existing records and systems
• Review and correct discrepancies in data as required
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure data integrity
• Prepare and generate reports based on entered data when needed
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive information
• Assist in organizing and maintaining digital and physical filing systems
• Identify and troubleshoot data entry errors or system issues promptly
