Job summary

Cactus Companies is seeking a manufacturing assembler to perform a wide range of assembly and test tasks for all products. The role involves following safety, quality, and environmental policies while working around heavy machinery.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (or 2 years related experience), knowledge of quality systems, and ability to read assembly drawings. No supervisory duties are expected, and safety training is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of Quality System.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate and test completed products to verify functioning and conformance to requirements.
• Position and/or align components for assembly, manually or using hoists.
• Verify parts clearances and fit up.
• Adjust, repair, rework, or replace parts and assemblies to ensure proper operation.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings or operation manuals.
• Maintain and lubricate parts or components.
• Remove rough spots and smooth surfaces to fit, trim or clean parts, using hand tools or power tools.
