Job summary

Cactus Wellhead in Bossier City, LA is seeking a night-shift assembler/tester to join our on-site manufacturing team. Shift runs 5pm–5am, Mon–Fri with every other Saturday as needed. You will assemble and test Cactus products, read drawings, and ensure proper operation of components on the line.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with 0–2 years of related experience, and must complete the SSE program for the role. A strong safety mindset and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 0–2 years related experience or training
• Must complete Short Service Employee (SSE) program for the position
• Read and interpret detailed instruction drawings and specifications on wellhead equipment and valves
• Knowledge of good document control and process flow
• Knowledge of how parts are assembled, tested, and painted and the tools and equipment used to accomplish it and the Quality System

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and testing of Cactus or customer products to verify function and conformance
• Inspect, operate and test completed products
• Read and interpret assembly drawings or operation manuals
• Position and align components for assembly using hand tools or hoists
• Maintain and lubricate parts or components
• Remove rough spots and smooth surfaces to fit, trim or clean parts with tools
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures
