Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational training or trade school experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant cutting or machine operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cutting equipment, including band saws and pipe cutters.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and safety inspections.
• Regulate torches and change blades as needed.
• Complete job tickets and return-to-stock documentation accurately.
• Distinguish between scrap and recyclable material and stage materials.
• Follow Level One and nuclear job procedures, including LP testing.
• Set speeds/feeds, adjust production based on priorities.
• Troubleshoot production issues with engineering.
• Support department organization and safety adherence.
