ULTRAFLEX POWER TECHNOLOGIES CORP. is seeking a Coil Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on fabricating, assembling, and testing induction coils using copper tubing, fittings, and specialized components.

Candidates should have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with copper tubing, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. The position emphasizes precision, safety, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude suitable for fabrication and assembly work.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and BOMs.
• Experience with hand and power tools used in metal fabrication.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling tubing and components.
• Willingness to learn tube bending, winding, and brazing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Form and bend copper tubing by hand and with basic tools to match coil geometries in engineering drawings.
• Wind copper tubing into single- and multi-turn induction coils per drawing dimensions and turn counts.
• Read and interpret basic mechanical drawings, work orders, and BOMs.
• Fit and assemble coil formers, insulation, and mounting hardware per drawings.
• Perform basic dimensional checks and visual inspection of coils; flag deviations to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation per ISO 9001 procedures.
• Accurately record time, quantities, and work order status in the shop tracking system.
• Follow safety procedures related to torches, compressed gas, hand and power tools, and PPE.
