Job summary

Divcon in Dallas, TX seeks a Wiring Technician to assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels. You will fabricate panels from electrical schematics, lay out components, mount parts, terminate wiring, and perform functional verification on UL508 panels for commercial and mission-critical applications.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of panel wiring experience, the ability to read schematics, and proven skills with common hand tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in control panel assembly or wiring
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Proficiency with common assembly tools
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Commitment to quality and safety workmanship

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and wire control panels using drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Perform panel layout, component mounting, and wiring/termination to specs
• Produce UL508 control panels for commercial and mission-critical applications
• Test completed panels to verify function and identify wiring issues
• Troubleshoot and correct wiring errors, component malfunctions, and build discrepancies
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, safe workspace
• Notify Panel Shop Lead of issues with schematics or materials
• Monitor stock levels and prep materials as needed
• Support shop and facility tasks including light maintenance
• Maintain organization and disposal of trash and materials
