Cates Control Systems in Plano, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Control Panel Labeling Technician to produce, engrave, and organize labels for control panel assemblies. Precision, accuracy, and timely work are essential in this fast-paced environment.

You will read electrical schematics, maintain labeling inventory, and support production by completing tasks on schedule while upholding quality standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electrical wiring schematics
• Experience in manufacturing, engraving, labeling
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Print terminal tags from wiring schematics
• Engrave inside/outside tags according to schematics
• Ensure all tags and plates meet quality standards
• Maintain inventory levels of plastic, marker cards and printer labels
• Change traveler status in i-Prep once tags are complete
• Periodic cleaning of labeling equipment
• Cut, strip and label wire lengths using the Komax machine
• Support production schedules by completing assigned tasks efficiently and on time
