Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Quality Technician to test and inspect materials, products, and processes in a precast concrete manufacturing environment. You will support Production by performing pre-manufacture inspections and after-production checks, entering data into the system, and reporting quality issues to management.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic PC skills including Word and Excel, sharp attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints/production drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety policies.
• Perform pre-manufacture inspections and post-production checks to meet quality requirements.
• Enter Production and Quality data into computer systems.
• Identify, document and report quality problems to Production or Quality Management.
• Look for opportunities to improve materials, processes and products.
• Ensure cleanliness of the lab, testing areas and equipment.
• Lead by example with core values of honesty and integrity.
