Job summary

Wells is seeking a Quality Technician to perform inspections and quality checks across the production process for precast concrete products. You will verify PCI and project specs, maintain QC documentation, and work closely with production and QA teams to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration, with opportunities to read blueprints, operate testing tools, and report findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Pre-pour, post-pour, and final inspections of precast products.
• Report non-conforming materials or test results to QC leadership.
• Ensure products meet PCI, company, and project specs before shipment.
• Maintain accurate quality control documentation per required standards.
• Read blueprints and production drawings.
• Use testing tools and precision measurement devices.
• Conduct basic material testing to support QA processes.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and QC to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-pour, post-pour, and final inspections.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or test results to QC leadership.
• Ensure products meet PCI, company, and project specs prior to shipment.
• Maintain accurate quality control documentation in compliance with standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and project specs.
• Use tools such as slump cones, air meters, scales, ovens, and sieves.
• Conduct measurements using tape measures and precision tools.
• Perform basic material testing to support QA processes.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and QC teams to resolve issues.
