Job summary

Fabcon in Charlestown, Indiana, is seeking a safety‑minded team member to join our precast concrete production and delivery teams. You will form concrete sections, install rebar, operate hand and power tools, and help deliver products to job sites.

Responsibilities include assembling forms, carrying heavy loads, inspecting equipment, and supporting other departments as needed. A commitment to safety and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measures and blueprints.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate machinery safely.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Create forms used to build precast concrete sections (walls, beams, columns, stairs, etc.).
• Install rebar, plates, mesh, and foam insulation.
• Form concrete using screed boards, vibrators, and trowels.
• Use hand tools and power tools (drills, saws, tie guns, etc.).
• Delivery of ready‑mix concrete products, frequently lifting heavy loads.
• Perform vehicle maintenance: pre‑trip and post‑trip safety inspections and checks.
• Climb ladder to rinse hopper and check slump, daily as needed.
• Assist other departments by sweeping, shoveling, and other duties as requested.
• Follow company policy, procedures and supervisors’ instructions.
• Operate in conformance with safety and security standards.
