Job summary

MEMCO is hiring a Concrete Cutting & Coring Technician for a long-term commercial construction project in Cuero, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience operating concrete cutting and core drilling equipment while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities include core drilling for MEP installations, operating wall/slab/hand saws, reading drawings, measuring cutting locations, and maintaining equipment. OSHA safety and independent reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of concrete cutting and coring experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Clean Background.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete core drilling for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations.
• Operate concrete cutting equipment, including wall saws, slab saws, hand saws, and core drilling machines.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and job specifications.
• Measure and mark cutting locations accurately.
• Inspect and maintain cutting and coring equipment.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and all project‑specific safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades on‑site.
