Job summary

Precise Contractors is seeking experienced concrete cutter/coring technicians for the San Antonio, Texas area. Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of experience and are willing to work outdoors in varying temperatures. CDL is a plus, and weekend/O.T. may be required.

Responsibilities include core drilling, various saw cutting methods, pouring and finishing concrete, tool upkeep, and completing daily logs and JHAs. Must pass drug screen; OSHA 10 a plus.

Qualifications

• Concrete cutting/coring experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors, at heights, and in tight spaces.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Core Drilling: setting anchors, choosing the bit, holding depth and diameter.
• Concrete Chainsaw Cutting: walls, openings, deep or square-corner cuts.
• Ring Saw Cutting: walls, blocks, tight areas.
• Walk-behind Saw Cutting: slabs, floors, pavement.
• Quickie Saw Cutting: concrete, block, pavers.
• Pouring Concrete: forming, placing, finishing.
• Wall saw and hand saw cutting.
• Hammer drilling and chipping.
• Job setup and layout, slurry control, and wet/dry-vac cleanup.
• Loading and unloading equipment, basic upkeep of saws, blades, chains, and core rigs.
• Filling out daily work logs and JHAs.
• Following PPE rules and tie-off when working at height.

Job Duties

• Core Drilling: setting anchors, choosing the bit, holding depth and diameter.
• Concrete Chainsaw Cutting: for walls, openings, and deep or square-corner cuts.
• Ring Saw Cutting: for walls, blocks, and tight areas.
• Walk-behind Saw Cutting: (flat/slab saw) for slabs, floors, and pavement.
• Quickie Saw (Cut-off Saw) Cutting: Concrete, block, and pavers.
• Pouring Concrete: forming, placing, and finishing.
• Wall saw and hand saw cutting.
• Hammer drilling and chipping.
• Job setup and layout, slurry control, and wet/dry-vac cleanup.
• Loading and unloading equipment, plus basic upkeep of saws, blades, chains, and core rigs.
• Filling out daily work logs and JHAs.
• Following PPE rules, silicacontrol, and tie-off when working at height.
• Capable of working in the elements (High Summer Temperatures and Cold Winter Temperatures for long shifts)
• Other duties as assigned.

• Reliable transportation and willing to work early starts, overtime, and some weekends.
• Reliable phone.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen; background check required for secured sites.
• OSHA 10 a plus.

Compensation

• Depends upon level of experience.
• Health, Dental, Vision Insurance after 1 months (company covers $250 towards employee portion)

Working Schedule

Monday - Friday with some weekends.
