Job summary

SpawGlass is seeking a Concrete Carpenter to build, set, and strip formwork for foundations, slabs, walls, and other concrete elements. You will read drawings, ensure alignment with plans, and maintain safety on a fast-paced jobsite.

Experienced carpenters may take on lead roles, mentor junior team members, and contribute to quality and productivity in the field. A strong commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting construction drawings, layouts, grades, elevations, specifications.
• Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and safety standards on site.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience building, setting, bracing, and stripping concrete formwork for slabs, walls, footings, columns, and related structures.

Responsibilities

• Build, set, and strip formwork for foundations, slabs, walls, and other concrete elements.
• Read and interpret project drawings, layouts, grades, elevations, and specifications.
• Ensure safety and quality on site, maintaining a hazard-free environment.
• Lead small crews on more complex tasks and support field quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with team to meet project plans and schedules.
