Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Batch Plant Operator to control concrete production using computer batching software. The role ensures correct admixtures, weights, and quality per customer specifications.

You will monitor safety, maintain records, and work with the Foreperson on daily tasks. Requires high school diploma or GED and related batching experience. Overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school or general education degree (GED) required.
• Previous related experience as a Batch Plant Operator; knowledge of mix designs, components desirable.

Responsibilities

• Verify admixtures, dosages, and that batched concrete meets specifications.
• Adjust batching weights and quantities to maintain specs.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow OSHA/MSHA procedures.
• Wear PPE as required and follow supervisor directions for daily tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and logs; assist with plant maintenance and cleaning.
