Job summary

Texas Materials, A CRH company seeks a Batch Plant Operator for the Austin Portables plant. You will control the process to produce concrete from raw ingredients using computer batching software, ensuring deliveries meet customer specs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include verifying dosages, adjusting weights, following supervisor directions, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates should have a GED or high school diploma and prior batch plant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous Batch Plant Operator experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mix designs desirable.

Responsibilities

• Verify admixtures and dosages meet specs for produced concrete.
• Adjust batching weights to maintain target specifications.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow OSHA/MSHA procedures.
• Follow directions from Foreperson and plant supervisors.
• Display professional conduct and maintain reliable attendance.
