Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Colfax, NC is hiring a compounder/operator to set up and run mixer systems, weigh ingredients, and prepare materials for production lines. You will follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and maintain accurate blend inventories on a fast-paced manufacturing floor.

In this role you will operate forklifts, execute formulations, and complete paperwork while ensuring quality and efficiency; opportunities for growth exist within the CRH family of companies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up the mixer system to produce compound for production.
• Weigh ingredients accurately according to formulation.
• Operate forklift to supply materials and maintain inventory.
• Maintain blend levels in silos as instructed.
• Complete required paperwork and daily inspections.
• Assist maintenance with blending equipment when needed.
