Job summary

Evans Capacitor Co. is seeking a Component Operator at our East Providence, RI site to manufacture capacitor components and operate production machinery.

The role requires reading drawings, aligning materials, and performing quality checks to ensure product specifications are met. The position runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with standard safety protocols and teamwork across the production floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• ERP systems experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture capacitor components safely and accurately.
• Operate press machines and related production equipment per procedures.
• Read and follow drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Load materials, align and position prior to machining.
• Adjust process parameters to meet product specifications.
• Perform in-process quality checks (dimensions, weight, surface).
• Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and QA to meet quality standards.
• Input data into production systems to track progress and results.
• Use measurement tools (calipers, gauges) to verify products.
