Job summary

Lancesoft seeks a Component Assembler in Charlotte, NC 28269 for hands-on assembly of large or medium-sized components in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will read blueprints and standard work instructions, use various hand and power tools, and perform recurring assembly tasks to meet specifications while upholding quality and safety standards.

Overtime and weekend hours may be required. This onsite, 12-18+ month assignment emphasizes teamwork and clear communication across departments

Qualifications

Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring instruments.
One-year experience in manufacturing assembly.
Solid mechanical background required.

Responsibilities

Completes simple repeatable assembly operations of large or medium-sized components without use of machinery.
Ability to assemble components using various hand and power tools according to specifications.
Reads blueprints and/or standard work instructions.
Performs a variety of functions following prescribed procedures in product assembly and testing.
Assemble components as required on time and according to quality specifications.
Identify improvement areas and communicate ways to implement change.
Maintain cleanliness of workstation and assist with department housekeeping.
Exhibit high productivity, quality, and safety standards.
Overtime and weekend hours may be assigned.
Learn and operate in multiple stations within the department.
Good communication with supervisor and related departments.
Exceptional customer service skills and teamwork are required.
