Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Component Assembler for an onsite role in Charlotte, NC. You will assemble components using hand and power tools, read blueprints and follow work instructions, and ensure compliance with quality specifications.

The position spans 12-18+ months across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with overtime possible. You will maintain clean work areas, drive continuous improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring instruments.
• One-year experience in manufacturing assembly.
• Solid mechanical background required

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using hand and power tools according to specifications.
• Read blueprints and/or standard work instructions.
• Follow prescribed procedures in product assembly and testing.
• Assemble components on time and to quality specifications.
• Identify improvement areas and communicate changes effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and assist with department housekeeping.
• Show high standards of productivity, quality, and safety.
• Overtime and weekend hours may be assigned.
• Learn and operate in multiple stations within the department.
• Communicate well with supervisor and related departments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and work well in a team.

Description

• Ability to assemble components using various hand and power tools according to specifications.
• Ability to read blueprints and/or standard work instructions.
• Performs a variety of functions following prescribed procedures in product assembly and testing.
• Assemble components as required on time and according to quality specifications.
• Ability to identify improvement areas and effectively communicate ways to implement change.
• Maintain the cleanliness of workstation and assist with entire department housekeeping.
• High personal standards with regards to productivity, quality, and safety.
• Overtime and weekend hours may be assigned.
• Willingness to learn and operate in multiple stations within the department.
• Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments
• Exceptional customer service skills and a great teamwork are required.
