Job summary

DIHO CONSULTING USA is seeking experienced combo welders for shop work fabricating shell and tube heat exchangers and pressure vessels. Candidates must weld with TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW) and Flux Core, and produce high-quality welds that meet code requirements in a production setting.

You will read blueprints, follow weld procedures, and assist with fabrication of vessel components while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combo welding experience.
• Experience with pressure vessels, exchangers, or piping preferred.
• Familiarity with ASME code is a plus.
• Must pass a weld test.
• Reliable, able to work overtime, and comfortable in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), And Flux Core welding on carbon and stainless steel.
• Weld in multiple positions including 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, and 6G when required.
• Read and follow blueprints, weld procedures, and job specifications.
• Assist with fabrication and assembly of pressure vessels and exchanger components.
• Maintain weld quality to meet X-ray and inspection standards.
• Follow all shop safety rules and procedures.
