Job summary

Group 1 Collision Center in Houston is seeking a qualified Collision Repair Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and quality. You will repair per estimates, verify parts, and prepare vehicles for body work while maintaining compliance with all regulations.

The role requires 2+ years in heavy structural collision and frame work, plus ICAR/ASE certifications (a plus) and a vocational collision credential. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Collision Repair Technician, with heavy structural collision and frame experience.
• ICAR or ASE certifications in auto body repair, painting and estimating are a plus.
• Certificate from Vocational School in Collision is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
• Check parts against estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received.
• Prepares vehicles for body repair work.
• Notifies management of any additional repairs or difficulties.
• Maintains safety equipment and complies with hazardous materials regulations.
• Cooperates with other personnel in repair and prepping of vehicles.
• Adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations.
