Job summary

Boyd Group Services' Greenville, AL shop is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision and care. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, while ensuring safety and quality in every step.

This role emphasizes speed, quality, and customer excellence, with a flat-rate compensation model ($21 - $30 per hour) tied to booked hours. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and training through technical school or a 3-year

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plans the repair work that is necessary and prepares cost estimates for customers. Uses tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammers out dents, dimples, and other minor body damage; applies filler resins when other methods are not feasible.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections of vehicles and replaces them with new or aftermarket parts; repairs glass as needed.
• Replaces or repairs interior parts as needed.
• Welds and attaches or fits parts and prepares and repaints vehicles to factory standards.
• Attempts to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
