Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Vocational or technical training in automotive collision repair is preferred.
• 2–5 years of body shop or collision repair experience is required.
• ASE, I-CAR, or OEM certifications are preferred.
• Manufacturer-specific training is a plus.
• Read and interpret repair orders, estimates, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong safety procedures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle damage and determine repair procedures.
• Perform structural, body, and frame repairs.
• Repair or replace damaged panels and components.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles for repair and refinishing.
• Ensure repairs meet OEM and dealership standards.
• Collaborate with estimators, painters, and other technicians.
• Inspect work for proper fit, finish, and safety.
• Maintain documentation of repairs and parts used.
• Follow safety procedures and keep area clean.
• Operate tools safely and report additional damage as needed.
• Support productivity and cycle-time goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
