Job summary

CHROME HEARTS® in Hollywood, CA is seeking a skilled CNC Set-Up/Operator to join the team. You will work with a CNC programmer to set up and operate a 30 Taper 4-spindle rotary wood router, loading parts, setting up the machine, and producing high-quality wood parts for production.

The role requires woodworking/CNC experience, familiarity with M/G code, and ability to work with Lean methods. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Experience in woodworking or CNC wood routing, preferably 4-axis.
• Familiarity with M and G code CNC programming languages.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge is desirable.
• Experience cutting various types of wood.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in set-ups and operations.
• Good communication to collaborate with programming department.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load parts into the machine and perform set-ups per production paperwork.
• Load programs, tools, and set offsets using probing system and height gauge.
• Collaborate with programming to update production packages.
• Inspect finished parts with measuring tools (tape, calipers, micrometers).
• Install/remove riser tables and tailstocks as needed.
• Use tooling for clamping/unclamping parts (strap clamps, drivers, wrenches).
• Maintain machine maintenance logs and note issues.
• Organize incoming/outgoing raw materials.
• Clean and maintain CNC router and dust collection system; perform maintenance routines.
• Prepare blanks for production (gluing, hand drills, saws).
• Run low to mid-volume production.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
