Job summary

Bowers Group seeks an experienced CNC Technician for our Bradford shop, producing high-precision parts for our measurement solutions. You will set up, program and run HAAS CNC machines for turning and milling, handling small batch work from prototypes to production.

You’ll interpret drawings, select tooling, and manufacture components to exact specs, using Bridgeport lathes and mills as needed. CADCAM experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-precision machining and CNC programming/editing.
• Experience machining ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Mechanical/manufacturing engineering qualification or time-served background.

Responsibilities

• Set up, programme and operate HAAS CNC machines for turning and milling.
• Handle small batch runs from prototypes to short production runs.
• Program vertical machining centres using OneCNC CADCAM.
