Job summary

Marathon Electric is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. The role requires hands-on CNC operation, blueprint reading, and adherence to quality standards to produce precise components.

You will use measurement tools and set up multiple machines, ensuring proper calibration and documentation. Proficiency in programming and tool setup will support continuous improvement and efficient production.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC lathe or CNC mill machines with basic setup knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow process sheets, blueprints, setup cards, and written instructions.
• Use calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and other gauging equipment to verify parts.
• Install tooling, set up machine turrets, and load programs into CNC machines.
• Machinist tasks include turning, facing, drilling, threading, and reaming with tight tolerances.
• Inspect own work for dimensions and document results, maintaining quality and quantity standards.
