Job summary

Brunner & Lay is seeking a CNC Operator for the 2nd shift in Springdale, AR to run CNC machinery safely and accurately. You will interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to produce high quality parts.

This role requires at least 3 years of experience, a high school diploma, and familiarity with precision measurement tools. You will program machines and perform test runs to validate outputs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; engineering certificate/diploma is a plus.
• 3 years proven experience as CNC operator.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and CAD/CAM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform drilling, grinding, milling, and related tasks.
• Read blueprints and mechanical drawings to understand specifications.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so machines can perform correct functions.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines.
• Run tests to verify outputs meet specifications.
• Set machines for full production cycles to produce numerous parts.
• Supervise machines and adjust as needed to improve results.
• Inspect finished products and compare with requirements.
