Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of work history within the last three years.
• Understand and use basic math concepts.
• Read, interpret and understand blue prints.
• Understand and can use calipers.
• Read G Code.

Responsibilities

• Load parts, operate controls, machine parts, inspect parts and deburr as needed.
• Check and monitor parts being run.
• Follow sequence of operations and setup requirements under supervision.
• Read basic dimensions and tolerances from blueprints.
• Achieve earned standard hours goals and objectives.
• Document work properly (PCDs, clocking, checklists) per procedures.
• Maintain proper inventory of hand tools and inspection equipment.
• Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and report them.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and compliance with policies.
• Set up machines and tool offsets with team lead approval.
• Fill Tie-In-Book with detailed notes and mark unloaded parts with job operation.
