Job summary

Vulcan Industrial, a precision engineering and manufacturing company, seeks a CNC Mill Machinist for our Osceola, WI facility. You will machine high-quality components per engineered drawings, with live tooling, while following established processes and QAP documentation.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating CNC milling machines with live tooling capabilities.
• Technical program certificate or degree preferred.
• Basic PC Skills preferred.
• Siemens control experience preferred.
• Familiar with precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret charts, drawings, and blueprints.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Meets production standards for machined parts or communicates reasons for deviations.
• Performs in-process inspections to ensure conformance to specs.
• Adheres to QAP documentation and ensures tooling/calibration validity.
• Reads programs and follows order of operations to produce quality parts.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and complies with safety regulations.
• Monitors tool life and cycle times, supports tool/process improvements.
• Performs autonomous maintenance and supports equipment troubleshooting.
• Reads and interprets job instructions, drawings, and blueprints.
• Works with minimal supervision and meets production deadlines.
