Job summary

Grede is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate numerically controlled machining and turning centers to produce precision parts. You will identify tooling, set offsets, and report issues to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include checking dimensions with gauges, loading and assembling parts per instructions, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment while following all safety policies.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with Fanuc controls and listed machines.
• Ability to lift/heavy objects.
• Self-motivated and collaborative.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness at all times.

Responsibilities

• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges to check dimensions.
• Make minor adjustments to maintain tolerance and finish requirements.
• Load, inspect, assemble, and pack parts per instructions or quality alerts.
• Fill out required documentation and follow inspection frequency.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor.
