Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to support high-quality manufacturing operations at our New Hampshire facility. The ideal candidate combines strong machining knowledge with hands-on problem-solving ability and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will operate CNC mills and lathes, read blueprints and GD&T, select tooling and feeds, perform first-piece inspections, troubleshoot, and optimize cycles to meet production schedules while reducing

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
  • Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or Siemens controls preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds for efficient production.

  • Optimize cycle times and machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
  • Maintain production schedules while ensuring product quality standards are met.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds for efficient production.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment.
Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, machine noise, metal shavings, lubricants, and moving mechanical parts. Proper PPE and safety procedures are required at all times.
