Job summary

BLADE is seeking a Test Technician I to set up and run CNC milling jobs, program with G code, and operate a Trumpf Laser in a production environment. This role requires accurate data reporting and strict adherence to work instructions to meet production targets.

You will be responsible for reporting shop-floor data, following written procedures, lifting up to 50 lbs, wearing PPE, and contributing to quality and safety initiatives. HS diploma and 1–3 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years industry experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Experience with small power tools and computerized equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and work overhead as needed.
• Willingness to wear PPE per plant rules.

Responsibilities

• Program, edit, fixture and set up CNC Milling Machine Jobs.
• G code programming experience required.
• Operate Trumpf Laser.
• Accurately report shop floor production data via computer terminal or written reporting.
• Follow visual and written work instructions to complete tasks on time.
• Perform cycle counting of parts and material handling duties.
• Support the mission, values and culture of the organization.
• Adhere to quality and safety standards; assist on other projects as assigned.
