Vip Staffing - zrb is hiring a CNC Machinist for a manufacturing operation in San Antonio, TX. You will set up, operate, and maintain CNC and general-purpose equipment to support high-precision production.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience or an associate degree in CNC machining, with proficiency in reading drawings and GD&T, and Mastercam programming. A strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

1–3 years of CNC machining experience or an associate degree/certificate in CNC machining.
Experience operating general-purpose, special-purpose, and CNC machinery.
Experience generating or modifying CNC programs (manual or Mastercam).

Responsibilities

Set up, operate and maintain CNC and general-purpose machines to support high-precision production.
Prepare, set up and operate CNC machines (VMC, HMC, turning centers, surface grinders).
Generate and edit CNC programs using Mastercam; perform manual programming when required.
Ensure dimensional accuracy using precision measurement on small parts.
Troubleshoot machining and secondary process issues to maintain productivity and quality.
Coordinate with Sintering, ISP, Machine Shop Engineering, and Quality to support schedules.
Apply SPC, TPM, poke yoke, kaizen, and GD&T in daily operations.
Support new product development by planning machines, tools, fixtures, and inspection methods.
Maintain documents related to TS 16949, ISO 9001, and other quality systems.
Follow safety rules and 5S standards to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
