Job summary

BorgWarner in the United States is seeking a CNC/Machine Operator to set up and run conventional and CNC machines for precision parts. You will measure outputs with calipers, micrometers, and CMMs while following blueprints and process sheets to ensure tolerances.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of related experience preferred in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Ability to read gear charts and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (2-6 axis) and adjust tooling.
• Measure and verify parts with calipers, micrometers, CMMs.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine tolerances.
• Maintain quality within control limits and support production targets.
• Pack finished material and load/unload materials as required.
• Follow safety policies and 5S; maintain clean work area.
