City of Lincoln is seeking Machinists to join our Machine Shop. You will set up, operate, and program CNC mills and lathes to produce precision packaging machine components, with duties varying by experience level.

We offer safety-focused, collaborative machining environments, where you can mentor others, support continuous improvement, and grow technical skills in tooling, software, robotics, and multitasking equipment.

Formación

• Technical degree or equivalent in machining.
• Ability to read blueprints and prints for advanced roles.
• Experience with CNC mills and lathes preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to machine parts to spec.
• Set up, operate, and program machines with close tolerances.
• Operate multiple machine tools and perform progressive machining.
• Write/exeсute programs and adjust as needed based on results.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify tolerances.
• Maintain 5S in the work area and support safety improvements.
