Job summary

Onin Staffing in Broussard, LA is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a busy manufacturing operation. You will set up and operate CNC and other equipment to produce precision parts, including valves, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The position offers first shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM, and pay ranging from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience. Applicants should have proven machining experience, ability to read blueprints, and familiarity with precision

Qualifications

Previous machining experience is required.
Ability to use precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers.
Ability to read tape measures and rulers.
Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
Familiarity with hand tools and shop equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and understand machining specifications.
Preferred CNC programming and Mazak/Mazatrol experience.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC and other machining equipment to produce precision parts, including valves.
Fabricate and repair components for oilfield equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed.
Perform routine equipment maintenance.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
