Responsibilities

• Load and unload workpieces with hoists and hand tools, securing them to the machining table.
• Start up equipment, watch cycle performance, and correct malfunctions or out‑of‑tolerance conditions by adjusting controls.
• Verify critical dimensions and alignment using micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks.
• Tag or stamp completed parts and record run data on Process and Log sheets.
• Clean parts using a washing machine and deburring tools; stack on pallets or stage in tubs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on manual and automated machines: clean interiors/exteriors, check and refill oil, and make minor repairs.
