Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to produce high-precision components and ensure tight tolerances. You will set up and run CNC lathes and mills, read blueprints, perform inspections, and verify quality with precision tools in a fast-paced shop environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of CNC experience, strong blueprint interpretation, and experience with aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium, with Fanuc controls preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with CNC Lathes or CNC Mills.
• Ability to perform machine setups independently.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Experience working with tight tolerances and precision-machined components.
• Experience performing quality inspections and verifying completed work.
• Fanuc controls experience preferred.
• First Article Inspection (FAI) experience.
• G-code editing or troubleshooting experience.
• Experience machining aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes or CNC mills.
• Produce precision-machined components from aluminum, stainless steel, stainless steel, and titanium.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform machine setups and tooling adjustments as needed.
• Conduct first article and in-process inspections.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, runout, and overall part quality.
• Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators.
• Support a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment with multiple daily setups.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace.
