Job summary

CSI Aerospace, Inc., a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, seeks an experienced CNC Machinist for a 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00 pm - 3:30 am; OT Fridays). You will read blueprints, set up and run CNC machines, inspect parts, and maintain documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Required five years of CNC experience, strong measuring skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. DOT-FAA safety compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Five years related experience in CNC machining.
• Post-secondary certificates or associate degrees in machining or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• DOT-FAA Safety sensitive position and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and detailed drawing.
• Set-up and operate CNC machines to very close tolerances.
• Use calipers or other measuring instruments for quality checks.
• Troubleshoot parts and machine problems.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Prepare necessary paperwork for movement and control of parts.
