Job summary

US Tech Force seeks a CNC Machinist for a growing custom machine shop in the Green Bay, WI area. As a Machinist, you will interpret client specifications, enter them into the CNC machine, set up the machine and monitor it as it operates.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years in a job shop, experience on VMCs or turning centers, and CAD/CAM software proficiency. Wage ranges from $20–$36 per hour, with 1st and 2nd shifts available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a job shop environment.
• Experience working on VMCs or Turning Centers/Lathes.
• Expertise with CNC calculating, CAD and CAM software.
• Basic programming skills preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and part drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce custom metal components to customer specifications.
• Set up, operate and run CNC machines.
• Ability to edit programs
• Troubleshooting and fixing mechanical issues
