Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Precision CNC Machining Operator to produce energy components on 3-4 axis and 5+ axis machines. You will interpret complex drawings, set up tooling, and ensure high-precision results.

You will work a rotating schedule with robust safety practices, be able to pass health and respirator tests, and contribute to low-emission energy initiatives through accurate metrology and process control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC operations experience; laser applications a plus.
• Active or readily obtainable forklift/crane license.
• Able to read drawings, perform safe part handling, and use metrology tools.
• Pre-hire testing includes ACT WorkKeys Silver or higher.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines from setup to final inspection with precision.
• Interpret drawings and select tools/fixtures to complete operations.
• Move materials up to 50 lbs using cranes and forklifts; assist crane operations.
• Follow Siemens Energy procedures to ensure consistency and quality.

You rotate between machining, bonding, heat treating, and manual machining.
