You rotate between machining, bonding, heat treating, and manual machining. You verify critical features with advanced metrology, document results, and move confidently between setups—always guided by detailed drawings, specs, and the right tooling strategy.Role accountabilitiesOwn safe, precise CNC operations from setup to final inspection.Interpret complex drawings/blueprints and select tools/fixtures to execute required operations.Lift/move materials up to 50 lbs and handle components using jib and B/C cranes and forklifts; assist crane operations.Follow Siemens Energy procedures to maintain consistency and quality.Work schedule optionsMon–Thurs: 5:30am–4:00pmMon–Thurs: 4:00pm–2:30amFri–Sun: 5:30am–6:00pmFri–Sun: 5:30pm–6:00amQualificationsEducation: High School diploma or GEDExperience: 3+ years of CNC operations experience focused on machining; background with laser applications and coating machines preferredRequired Certification: Fork truck/crane license (active or ability to obtain immediately upon selection)Technical strengthsCNC setup, operation, and safe part handlingQA process adherence and complex metrologyBlueprint reading/interpretation and strong shop mathReadiness & health standardsAbility to obtain an ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate (Silver Level or higher) as part of the pre-hire assessment.
